Hi, I’m Chef Todd!

I was raised in Soldotna, ALASKA where my parents hunted, fished, foraged, and grew their own produce. Every day there were three meals on the table and my folks were always in the kitchen. From a young age, I was very interested in cooking… and eating. It was everything from escargot at a seafood shack in anchorage to making pancakes for the family in the mornings. At the age of 19, I enrolled in a culinary institute in Portland Oregon.

For the Next 14 years I traveled around the country trying to soak up as much knowledge as I could. I then fell into the heart of North Carolina, where I learned everything from downhome southern comfort food to upscale fine dining, and lots of different forms of ethnic cooking and techniques. I also can’t forget the wonderful southern hospitality.

I have now moved back to Alaska to start a new path. Here I will be personalizing my knowledge to do customized special dinners in a variety of different landscapes.
